We are looking for a teacher for grades 4–6 with us. We look forward to your application! JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You will teach grades 4–6. You will be part of a work team and together you will work to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where each student has the opportunity to develop. The work includes tasks such as planning, documenting, following up, and evaluating both individually and together with your closest colleagues and work team. Together with colleagues, you plan, conduct, and develop instruction with a focus on motivating, engaging, and creating participation among students. Your task is to promote each student's learning and achievement of goals, as well as adapt based on their individual needs and circumstances. Student welfare work is a central part of our work. We have access to all the professions within student services and collaborate closely to create the best conditions for our students. Our work is characterized by an inclusive approach and we value good relationships with both students and guardians. Collaborative learning is an important part of our operational development, where we create new knowledge together and develop our methods. We want each student to feel safe and to have the opportunity to develop. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have teacher certification with eligibility for grades 4–6. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not required. To fit this role, we also believe you are/have: Stable: You are driven and a trusted role model for students. Flexible: You are well familiar with the school's governing documents and have the ability to individualize and vary instruction based on student needs. Clear: As a person, you are a clear and communicative leader and have an easy time adapting. You work according to an inclusive approach and are accustomed to applying a low-affect response in situations where it is required. Pedagogical: You have a good understanding of how humans and especially children acquire knowledge. You adapt the way you convey messages to the target audience. Collaboration skills: You work well with other people and contribute to a positive work environment. You listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts in a constructive way. Great weight is placed on personal suitability ABOUT THE WORKPLACE Hubbarpsskolan is a multicultural K–6 school with after-school care. The school is centrally located in Tranås with proximity to both nature, city activities, and within walking distance to the train station. The school is organized into three work teams: after-school care, grades K–3, and grades 4–6. We also have a special education teacher, counselor, and school nurse. We are a positive and engaged staff with a good sense of humor. The school also has three health coordinators who lead activities that strengthen community and well-being in the staff group.
