If you are new to teaching, you will be supported by a mentor for the best guidance, and if you are not certified, you may conduct instruction but not be responsible for it. Who We Are Looking For We are primarily seeking someone with teacher certification and authorization to teach grades 4-6 in Math, English, Swedish, Science, and Technology at the elementary level. Secondarily, we welcome candidates with subject knowledge at the university level in the above subjects. It is a merit to have pedagogical training at the university level. We want someone with experience working in schools as either a certified or uncertified teacher and who has worked with children/youth ages 9-13. You have the ability to adapt instruction based on each student's needs, and your lessons are characterized by clear expectations, a productive work environment, and a desire to learn. We appreciate candidates who are skilled at teaching students with special needs and can support students in managing conflicts. You demonstrate commitment, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in the school environment and how it is shaped by the wider world. A key success factor is your ability to build trusting relationships both within and outside the school. Furthermore, you are a confident pedagogical leader with the ability to critically analyze your own and your work team's methods for continuous improvement. You naturally use digital technology in instruction and as a tool for information, planning, communication, and reporting. You organize and structure your work according to specified goals. As a person, you are communicative, attentive, and trustworthy, uphold the professional ethical principles for teachers, and have the ability to analyze and document students' skills and knowledge. To evaluate your application, please attach your degree diploma and teacher certification. If no certified teachers are found, an uncertified candidate may be hired on a fixed-term basis according to school law.
