Your Assignment As a teacher in grades 4-6, you will teach students Swedish, English, and preferably Natural Sciences and Social Studies or Swedish as a Second Language (SVA). You are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction in your subjects based on the curriculum. You adapt instruction based on students' needs, interests, and conditions, and work with leadership and stimulation in the classroom. You follow up, assess, and document students' knowledge development. Creating a good study environment and sense of security is an integral part of the assignment. The assignment also includes mentoring for grade 4. You are responsible for building trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. Creating the right conditions for students requires close collaboration with other teachers, the student support team, and school leadership. You participate in subject groups and are part of a middle school team consisting of teachers and support staff. You collaborate regarding students, planning, assessment, pedagogical development work, and systematic quality improvement. There is room to influence and develop instruction based on your interests, knowledge, and experience. Your Experience For this position, you must have: - Teacher certification with subject authorization for grades 4-6 in Swedish and English - At least three years of experience working as a teacher in middle school - Good digital skills with experience using digital pedagogical tools - Strong ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written It is an asset if you also have: - Teacher certification with subject authorization for grades 4-6 in Natural Sciences and Social Studies, or Swedish as a Second Language - Experience with mentoring - Experience working with students in need of additional adaptations and special support Who Are You? Nacka Music Classes are also available for grades 4-6. We actively work to create a cohesive whole in terms of knowledge and security from preschool through grade 6.
