The school is currently in modular buildings but will be replaced with a new and modern school in the coming years. The schoolyard is open and green, offering large spaces for play. Teckomatorp has good communications towards both Helsingborg and Malmö, as well as towards Eslöv and Åstorp. The school is organized into two work teams with the idea of inclusion and collaboration between all school professions. The work teams' main collaborations take place around daily work, instruction, and student health initiatives. There is also a development group that, together with school staff, drives systematic quality work and our development projects in reading and writing development, mathematics, and cooperative learning with a focus on student development. The school has many competent staff members who, through instruction and in the after-school program, meet students throughout the school day with student achievement and well-being as the primary focus. Connected to the student health team are special educators, special teachers, and student health personnel to create a supportive structure for staff and students. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES In our work to achieve our goals based on the above development initiatives, we are now seeking an elementary teacher who is passionate about developing each student according to their needs and abilities. You will teach in the elementary grades and will primarily be connected to a grade level and form a team with a teaching colleague as well as a resource person. The assignment includes mentoring responsibilities for this particular class in addition to teaching. School staff are part of different work teams where you will be part of a team with staff connected to the elementary level. In the work team, all are expected to contribute to the team and school, both in daily work and in the development work being conducted. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone attracted to the above description who holds teacher certification. We would like your subject competency to be in the areas of mathematics, science, and English. You are skilled at building trustful relationships and, together with your colleagues, focus on developing each student according to their needs and abilities. It is important that you work well with colleagues and have a flexible approach to this work. Great weight is placed on personal suitability for the position. Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
