Oskarshamns parish is seeking an engaged and creative church musician with a passion for children and young people. Do you want to help develop our musical life together with us and inspire the next generation in the church? Then this position might be for you! As a church musician in Oskarshamns parish, you will have an important role in working with our children and youth. The main focus is to lead and develop activities and services together with musicians, educators, and other colleagues based on biblical stories and people's longing, so that people - especially children - can grow in faith and expression. The position includes: Leading, developing, and inspiring children's and youth activities through music together with talented colleagues Participating in church ceremonies Leading an adult choir Participating in Mass with children and adults and God in the Middle of the Week Participating at nursing homes and soup lunches Serving at high mass Collaboration between church, school, and society We are looking for someone who: Has church musician training or equivalent experience and is interested in training as a church musician while working Has strong commitment to children and young people Is pedagogical, creative, and collaborative Has experience leading children, youth, and adults Sings and plays piano and organ. Other instruments are a plus Wants to help develop the church's musical life We offer: A stimulating and developmental position in a vibrant parish.
