Svalövsbygdens Pastorat is now seeking a Cemetery Manager with comprehensive responsibility for funeral services and property management. This is a role for someone who wants to combine leadership, structure, and development work in an operation that holds great significance for people – at all stages of life. About the Position As Cemetery Manager, you will lead and develop the pastorat's funeral services and property management together with committed staff members. You will have overall responsibility encompassing both daily operations and long-term development. You will work closely with the parish priest, management group, and elected representatives, contributing to creating structure, good collaboration, and sustainable working methods. The position is both strategic and operational. You will have personnel responsibility for church custodians, parish hall managers, and seasonal and summer temporary staff. The position also includes responsibility for the maintenance and development of the pastorat's cemeteries and outdoor environments, where quality, dignity, and long-term sustainability are in focus. Svalövsbygdens Pastorat comprises nine churches, one chapel, and numerous buildings. Key Responsibilities · Lead, plan, and develop funeral services · Manage and develop churches, chapels, parish halls, and other buildings · Oversee cemeteries and outdoor environments with focus on quality and sustainable maintenance · Work with budgets, follow-up, and financial planning · Lead projects and investments · Handle KAE matters and government contacts · Ensure work environment responsibility (SAM) and systematic fire safety (SBA) We Are Looking for You You are a confident leader with experience in personnel and budget responsibility and thrive in a role where structure and relationships go hand in hand.
