Within the Social Care Administration, approximately 1,200 engaged employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place within elder care, home care, support for people with disabilities, and social psychiatry, as well as individual and family care. About the Workplace Ystad Municipality's home care consists of eight engaged work teams that work every day to create security, independence, and quality of life for our service users. In Svarte and Löderup, you'll work in beautiful natural surroundings with proximity to both the sea and the countryside. You'll meet service users with various needs, including those with cognitive diseases and somatic care needs. The work is varied and independent while you're part of a team where cooperation and care are in focus. As a nursing assistant with us, you are a key person in our service users' daily lives. You meet people in their own homes and create security and a dignified existence based on their individual needs. Your work tasks involve more than just care and may include: • Provide personal care with respect, warmth, and professionalism. • Support with daily tasks such as cooking, shopping, cleaning, and laundry. • Create social security through conversation, presence, and engagement. • Perform delegated health and medical care measures, such as medication administration. • Work independently in planning your visits. • Be an important link between service users, relatives, and colleagues. QUALIFICATIONS To be qualified for the position, you must have: • A degree as a nursing assistant with a protected professional title. • Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written (at least passing basic Swedish from elementary school year 9 or SFI D). • Cycling experience. • A class B driver's license. Meritorious are previous experience in care work, home care, and training and experience with cognitive diseases. We are looking for someone who is engaged and empathetic with a natural ability to meet people with respect and care. You have an easy time creating secure and trusting relationships with our service users and their relatives. You are attentive and flexible in your work approach, see each person's unique needs, and adapt to different situations and conditions. At the same time, you are responsible and stable, work in a structured manner, and take your own initiative when needed. You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team and contribute to a positive and respectful work environment. We place great emphasis on personal suitability! Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment type: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: August 31, 2026. Start date by agreement. Work time: Shift work. Evening shifts with service every other weekend.
