We specialize in customized solutions and serve customers in the recycling and forestry industries, transport, material handling, and construction. Your Responsibilities As a Quality Technician at Melin & Carlsson, you'll have a central role in developing and ensuring quality in our operations. You'll work closely with production, customers, and suppliers, driving both daily quality work and long-term improvement initiatives—in short: you'll make a real difference! Your responsibilities include: Quality and Improvement Work – Drive efforts to reduce quality failure costs and register, follow up on, and address customer and supplier deviations as well as manage complaints Root Cause Analysis and Improvement Work – Conduct analyses using methods such as 8D, identify improvement areas, and develop processes and procedures Measurement Technology and Quality Controls – Verify sample results and conduct quality monitoring as well as participate in incoming inspections and quality audits Training and Communication – Ensure that changes in working methods are communicated and implemented and contribute to competency development in quality Your Profile This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience from manufacturing who thrives in a role combining technology, analysis, and problem-solving. You're comfortable reading technical drawings and have an understanding of technical specifications and processes. You have good computer skills and an ability to work systematically with documentation. Success in this role requires basic knowledge of or interest in quality tools and root cause analysis. We'd like to see experience with or interest in measurement technology. Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written, are required.
