About the Company Since 1990, Melin & Carlsson has developed and manufactured hydraulic cylinders for mobile and stationary applications. We are specialists in customized solutions and serve customers in the recycling and forestry industries, transportation, material handling, and construction. Since December 2025, Melin & Carlsson is part of the ELMAB Group, which together generates approximately 500 MSEK in revenue and has about 200 employees with operations in Tranås and Dala-Järna. Responsibilities At Melin & Carlsson, you'll be an important function as the extended arm of the quality and sustainability manager in Tranås. You are responsible for ensuring that work is conducted in a structured manner and in line with the company's guidelines, goals, and management systems. The role is broad and varied with many contact points throughout the organization. You'll work closely with managers, employees, and the safety organization to create the right conditions for effective and sustainable working methods. Your responsibilities include, among other things: Conduct safety rounds, risk assessments, and security inspections Coordinate and follow up on internal and external audits Participate in training initiatives and contribute to strengthening the company's quality and safety culture, and support managers and employees in various types of matters During the coming year, there will be a strong focus on further developing and implementing the company's management system and contributing to the company's sustainability reporting. Your Profile We're looking for someone who has the ability to communicate complex issues in a pedagogical way and who is driven by seeing how your structure, analysis, and engagement are used to create real improvements in the workplace. To succeed in this role, we believe you are someone who takes initiative, works independently, and has a natural ability to build trust with the people around you. You are communicative, unpretentious, and have the ability to translate requirements and guidelines into practical working methods in the operation. We believe you have: Postsecondary education in, for example, quality, sustainability, or technology, or equivalent work experience Experience from manufacturing industry is advantageous Basic knowledge of quality and sustainability work Familiarity with management systems and ISO standards, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001, is advantageous Good administrative skills and experience with documentation and follow-up Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Why Melin & Carlsson?
