Medborgarskolan is now seeking a welding instructor in basic welding. Do you have welding experience and want to share your knowledge with others? We are looking for someone with strong practical welding experience, particularly in MMA, and preferably also knowledge of MIG/MAG and gas welding. You need to be able to meet beginners in a clear, calm, and encouraging way, and have the ability to create a safe learning environment where participants dare to experiment, develop, and ask questions. Since safety is an integral part of instruction, we are looking for someone with a good understanding of fire safety, workplace safety, protective equipment, and safe handling of equipment in a workshop environment. You should also have knowledge of materials and be able to explain basic techniques and common procedures in a simple and understandable way. We are looking for someone who: Has strong practical welding experience Masters MMA and preferably also MIG/MAG and gas welding Has good knowledge of safety, fire safety, and workplace safety Is pedagogical, clear, and patient Can lead a group in a safe and professional way It is an advantage if you have experience leading courses, mentoring adults, or teaching practical subjects. As an instructor at Medborgarskolan, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise in an adult education activity where learning, participation, and development are central.
