Psychiatric Clinic Motala Mjölby consists of outpatient services within general psychiatry and addiction care in Motala and Mjölby. The operations also include an inpatient ward and a mobile care team, both located in Motala. The clinic works based on an integrated care chain with treatment responsibility in both outpatient and inpatient care. The clinic serves western Östergötland and has been part of the Psychiatry Center together with all other psychiatric services in Region Östergötland since 2020. Please read about your benefits with us. Job Description A Meaningful Assignment Close to the Patient With us, you meet patients with complex needs. You work with psychosocial assessments, treatment interventions, and support for patients, family members, and networks. At the same time, you gain a central role in highlighting how social and societal factors affect mental health and contributing to creating the best possible conditions for the patient's recovery and participation. Expert Support in Social Issues and Legislation As a social worker, you are the organization's expert in social legislation and society's support services. You guide patients about their rights and opportunities for support and collaborate with actors such as municipalities, the Social Insurance Agency, the Employment Agency, and other care and service providers. You initiate and coordinate interventions when needed and work to strengthen the patient's own resources and opportunities. Work Group Collaboration That Makes a Difference Work occurs in close collaboration with doctors, nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists, and other professionals. You actively participate in team conferences, care planning, and treatment discussions where your expertise contributes to a comprehensive picture of the patient's needs and continued care. Have a strong interest in mental health and psychiatric work. Enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. Have good collaboration skills and a professional approach. Are flexible, proactive, and solution-oriented. Have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work. Meritorious Experience working in specialist psychiatry. Licensure as a health and medical care social worker. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You are engaged, responsible, and have the patient's best interests in focus. You want to contribute to organizational development and are interested in working based on current methods and research.
