The Education Department is responsible for, among other things, preschools, primary schools, adapted primary schools, secondary schools, and adapted secondary schools. The responsibility also includes student health services, mother tongue instruction, school transportation, and school meals. The Workplace The Rector's Area Trelleborg City Center consists of Liljeskolan F-9, Granlunda, and Solrosens preschool. The area is led by a rector together with four deputy rectors and an administrative manager. Liljeskolan is an F-9 school with a junior high section of approximately 500 students. We create tools for future competencies. IT is increasingly becoming a pedagogical learning tool, and we are investing in raising educators' competence in line with future demands and opportunities. We have dedicated staff who handle investigations regarding harassment and absenteeism. Each week, we set aside special time for school development in subject groups. The school is centrally located with good commuting options. Job Responsibilities As a teacher, you will teach our students in music and possibly another subject for grades 7–9. Together with your colleagues in your work team, you will create a good learning environment for each student. You work as part of a work team based on the clearly defined responsibility assignment stated in the curriculum for primary school. This means that together with the rector and other colleagues, you lead and develop the daily operations of the school for increased goal achievement. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a certified music teacher; it is meritorious if you also have qualifications in another subject for grades 7-9. We would like to see that you have experience working with young people. You are passionate about your teaching mission and bring good ideas about how we can develop instruction, stay informed of current research, and are ready to drive this forward together with your team! You are action-oriented, open to change, have an easy time bringing others along, and inspire innovative thinking. As a person, you are development-focused and have good communication skills as well as the ability to see the bigger picture. You enjoy working in an environment that demands high levels of responsibility, flexibility, action-orientation, and social competence. You are a creative colleague who can provide students with good learning environments, build good relationships, and have a respectful approach. We place great importance on personal qualities.
