Design Engineer with Production Technology Focus We are looking for someone who wants to take on a key role and serve as a bridge between design and manufacturing, with the potential to assume a leadership position within a few years. Here you will have the opportunity to influence how our products are designed—not just on the drawing board, but all the way through to efficient and robust production. The role focuses on ensuring that designs are optimized for efficient and cost-effective manufacturing and supporting production in day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient and quality-assured product and assembly workflows. The position is based in Ljungby and you will report to the Design Manager. Main responsibilities: Design of cost- and assembly-efficient machines and components Design of assembly fixtures for production Introduction of new parts and product modifications Measurement techniques related to incoming quality control, supplier changes, and quality issues Management of ECR issues and revision changes Build structures and preparations in the Monitor business system Experience and Profile We are looking for someone with higher education in a relevant field or equivalent experience. To succeed in the role, you have experience in mechanical design, preferably in mechatronics and structural analysis. You also have a good understanding of production technology. You have excellent CAD skills, and it is a merit if you have experience with Monitor. As a person, you are structured, solution-oriented, curious, and enjoy collaborating with different functions. You are driven, confident in making technical decisions, and bring energy to everyday work.
