JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for you to work in a combined role as a resource pedagogue and recreational after-school teacher. In this combined position at Mullsjö F-3, you will have an important role in creating safety, participation, and sustainable conditions within learning and development. Your task will be to support younger students who need assistance during the school day and in after-school activities. In our operation, you will meet a diverse group of students with different strengths, experiences, and needs, and through your positive engagement and approach toward both children, colleagues, and guardians, you will see differences as an asset in creating an inclusive school environment. In your role, you will: • Support students in the classroom, in smaller groups, and one-on-one when needed, based on their individual circumstances and needs. • Help create structure, safety, and a conducive learning environment that helps students succeed both socially and academically. • Work closely with teachers, special educators, student wellness services, and guardians to provide students with coordinated and long-term support. • Adapt working methods and approach based on student needs and contribute to an inclusive learning environment where everyone feels seen and valued. • Strengthen students' independence, motivation, and confidence in their own abilities through a relational and positive approach. • Actively participate in the school's development work and contribute to a warm and safe school environment where students and adults develop together. • As a recreational after-school teacher, you will share responsibility with colleagues for the program's content, planning, implementation, and evaluation. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you to be engaged, confident, and relationship-building, driven by making a difference for students in their early school years. You have an inclusive approach and the ability to meet each student based on their individual needs and circumstances. We believe you have: • Education as a recreational after-school teacher, resource pedagogue, child care worker, student assistant, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. • Education and experience with speech and language disorders. • Experience working with students in need of special support, preferably in the early years of primary school. • Good knowledge of and experience working with students with neurodevelopmental diagnoses and the ability to adapt approach, structure, and learning environment based on different needs.
