About the Job As a temporary kitchen assistant, you play an important role in ensuring operations run smoothly when a regular staff member is absent. The tasks are typical for school kitchens and preschool kitchens – helping with serving, salad preparation, simple cooking, dishwashing, and cleaning. About You We are looking for someone who has completed a restaurant and food service program or similar education and has experience working in a preschool kitchen, school kitchen, or comparable large-scale kitchen. It is particularly important that you have solid knowledge of safe food handling and allergen-free meals. Your knowledge, curiosity, and commitment make a difference. To succeed in this role, it is important that you are good at collaborating and can plan your own work. It is also important to be able to see what needs to be done and take initiative.
