Do you have a passion for cooking and enjoy work with varying pace and daily tasks? We are now seeking additional temporary cooks for the municipality's food service unit. The Workplace The Department of Infrastructure Management operates a wide-ranging service including units for streets/parks, water and sewage, planning and building, property management, food services, and cleaning services with related administrative functions. The food service unit manages nine different kitchens ranging from full-service preparation kitchens to receiving kitchens that primarily serve as a service function for the municipality's various departments based on their food service needs. Job Responsibilities As a temporary cook, you will be offered work covering for regular staff absences, which can involve both planned and urgent vacancy solutions. This may include work in all kitchens within the food service operation. Daily tasks include food preparation, dietary cooking, food handling, and daily production planning. Qualifications We are seeking someone with cook training from upper secondary school or equivalent education/experience. We prefer candidates with documented professional experience. You need knowledge in dietary cooking, data skills, and experience with HACCP and familiarity with this working method. You should have a strong interest in food and cooking, good collaboration skills, be service-oriented, and have a flexible mindset since every day will be different. You must have good Swedish language skills to work according to our kitchen instructions, HACCP plan, substitute handbook, and to communicate with our customers.
