Our Operations Restaurant Kajutan is located in Djuröhemmet. We serve our residents breakfast, lunch, afternoon coffee, and dinner daily. A large part of what we prepare is made from scratch. Our restaurant is also open to the general public. We are open every day of the year. Your Assignment In your role as a cook, your tasks will include food preparation, salad buffet, baking, serving, picking supplies, cleaning, helping with dishes, etc. We are a tight-knit team that helps each other in all areas of the kitchen/large-scale household. You will work in an open kitchen and will therefore meet our residents and staff daily. We are looking for a cook interested in working every other weekend but also willing to step in as needed. Your Experience We are looking for someone who at minimum has upper secondary education in food, such as a food program or equivalent. Has relevant work experience from similar work. It is important that you have experience with large kitchens. Possesses good knowledge of allergens, special diets, HACCP, self-inspection, and food hygiene/handling. You naturally have a genuine interest in cooking. As a person, you have strong social competence and can communicate and understand Swedish fluently both verbally and in writing, as communication is important in this role. Furthermore, you are responsible, flexible, and have great interest in people. You are independent and feel confident in your professional role. A language test may be relevant.
