Do you want to have the sea as your nearest neighbor, work with fresh-caught fish and seafood from our local fishermen, and prepare all dishes from scratch? All in one of Western Sweden's most beautiful locations. At Gullmarsstrand, located on the beautiful Skaftö island, we're now looking for you—someone who loves creating memorable experiences for our guests, has a great passion for cooking, and enjoys working in a team. I'm Markus, the head chef, and I enjoy working with the team toward common goals. We have fun at work and collaborate across all kitchen stations. We're proud that the food we serve is prepared from scratch using the best possible ingredients. We prioritize organic, locally sourced ingredients whenever possible, and of course plenty of fish and seafood. We work with both traditional and innovative cooking methods with high quality. HERE'S WHAT WE BELIEVE ABOUT YOU ✅ You're skilled at handling raw ingredients ✅ You're meticulous in your work ✅ You love cooking from scratch and working with locally sourced ingredients ✅ You're a team player who enjoys developing yourself ✅ You're organized and detail-oriented, even during busy service Your attitude and ambition are important to us. We believe you could be at the beginning of your career, or you may already have extensive knowledge and experience. Swedish is required (spoken and written). English is a plus. A driver's license and access to a car are necessary, but not a must. The role covers days, evenings, and weekends.
