The quarries are located in several places in the region, but work at other locations may also occur. As a breaker, you work breaking rock faces using an excavator at various quarries. The work requires responsibility as you often manage contact with the client's site management and other personnel at the work sites. You have a strong safety mindset, are solution-oriented and enjoy working towards set schedules. Requirements for the role: 🪨 B-class driver's license 🪨 Machine operator certificate for excavator 🪨 Experience in breaking work 🪨 Passed security clearance according to the LBE Act and background check About the role As a breaker (excavator operator) at Uppländska Berg, you will primarily work at our quarry jobs around central Sweden. The work tasks mainly consist of breaking rock faces and rock material using an excavator and hydraulic hammer, but other types of excavator work may also occur. Regular contact with site management regarding planning; otherwise the work is relatively independent. The work sites vary, but the tasks mainly consist of breaking work.
