Their long-term business relationships have established Svetsman as one of the leading players in the industry. About the Position Do you have experience with edge pressing and sheet metal bending? Are you a curious and technically skilled person with an interest in working in the manufacturing industry? Then you've come to the right place! We are looking for an experienced edge press operator with a feel for craftsmanship and precision. This is a long-term position and is a temporary recruitment through Montico, where the right person will be offered direct employment with the client after an initial hire period. The position is full-time and is scheduled for daytime hours. Job Description You will perform your work at our client's facility in Vimmerby, where you will operate a Darley edge press. Based on drawings, you will set up the edge press according to measurements and angles. You will bend, form, and adjust metal sheets of various thicknesses and material types according to specifications, and then perform quality control inspections on the processed sheet pieces to ensure they meet requirements and tolerances. Their edge presses have high flexibility with pressing force up to 300 tons and the ability to bend components up to 4 meters in length. You will produce recurring series as well as new incoming orders that include special jobs from small to large, offering you great variety in your work. You will be one of several skilled and experienced team members, giving you the opportunity to receive support and expertise beyond your own area, but most importantly, a well-planned and welcoming introduction to your future workplace. What We're Looking For You have the ability to work independently while also collaborating well with colleagues to achieve common goals. You are responsible and have an eye for detail to ensure that every job is performed with high quality and precision. We would like to see that you have experience from similar work tasks previously. As described in the job description above, we would appreciate if you have good physical fitness and enjoy physical work, as you will be handling various types of sheet metal with varying material thickness and weight.
