The Health and Social Care Inspectorate (IVO) is expanding and is now recruiting inspectors with a focus on healthcare to develop state supervision and licensing. We are in an expansive phase and need to strengthen operations with additional resources for an important and exciting mission! We are now seeking inspectors with a focus on healthcare positioned in Örebro. About the Job As an inspector with a focus on healthcare, you will investigate cases within the healthcare sector. As an inspector, you always work from a patient and user perspective with the supervision mission of investigating, controlling, and setting requirements to contribute to better healthcare for individuals and various groups of people. Your main responsibilities will include: - independently manage, investigate, and assess cases concerning individual complaints under the Patient Safety Act (EK-PSL) - maintain contact with healthcare providers, healthcare personnel, and complainants in investigative work - collaborate nationally with colleagues across the country - participate in close and cross-professional collaborations. We work together nationally and you will have coworkers across the country. At your office, you will be part of a team with colleagues within the relevant case type. You will participate in close and cross-professional collaboration with inspectors, supervising physicians, supervisory doctors, and decision-makers. In the longer term, the content of your work may change to include other case types. Right now, our agency is in an exciting phase of change and development work, so you should thrive and want to work in a dynamic environment with a fast pace. These positions are permanent employment with a six-month probationary period, based in Stockholm. Official travel may occur. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: - Swedish nursing license - at least 3 years of experience working in primary care, somatic specialist healthcare, psychiatric specialist healthcare, and/or municipal healthcare - documented experience with independent patient safety, analysis, investigation, quality, and/or development work - very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written - good knowledge of healthcare legislation. To succeed in this role, you need to have good collaboration skills and high integrity. You have good judgment and feel confident in your professional role. You find it easy to manage your own cases and to see what you need to do to move forward in your work. In the recruitment process, we will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
