We are now seeking an engaged and business-minded procurement officer/purchasing manager who wants to help develop our strategic and operational procurement work at Alingsås Energi. About the Role As a procurement officer/purchasing manager with us, you will have a varied role where you work both strategically and operationally. You are responsible for the entire procurement and purchasing process - from needs analysis and market dialogue to implementation, contract follow-up, and development of working methods and supplier collaborations. You will work closely with the business and provide support to managers and employees on matters related to procurement, contracts, and purchasing. Responsibilities The role includes, among other things: Plan and carry out procurements Prepare procurement documents and requirement specifications Drive and develop strategic procurement work Conduct analyses of purchases, costs, and supplier market Negotiate and follow up on contracts Ensure that purchases are made in accordance with applicable laws, guidelines, and internal processes Provide support to the organization on procurement and contract matters Contribute to the development and improvement of processes and working methods What We're Looking For We seek you with experience in procurement and purchasing who are comfortable working both strategically and operationally. As a person, you are structured, analytical, and have a business-oriented approach. The role requires that you can drive your own processes while having good collaboration skills and an ability to build trust within the organization. You should also have good IT skills. We particularly value: Experience in procurement and/or purchasing Experience in contract management and supplier dialogues Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish Post-secondary education in procurement, purchasing, economics, or law Experience with public procurement according to the Swedish Public Procurement Act (LUF) What We Offer With us, you will have the opportunity to work in an important and developmental role where you contribute to society and the long-term development of the business.
