Our mission is to provide technical assistive devices, tailored to individual needs, to people with disabilities in the region through prescribers from Region Västernorrland and the municipalities. You will work in a team together with two assistive technology consultants and two IT assistive technology technicians. Through your combined expertise, you will work together to find the best possible solutions for the patient. We are now seeking an assistive technology consultant for the Consultant Unit in Sundsvall. This is a permanent, full-time position, with a start date by agreement. Responsibilities - Provide advice and support to prescribers in the fitting and introduction of individually prescribed assistive devices within the areas of communication and cognition - Inform about and conduct training on products in our range - Contribute specialized expertise and serve as expert support within the current product area - Develop and ensure functional requirements in the procurement of products - Participate in continuous training, further education, and professional development within the field - Collaborate with colleagues and other professions to find the best possible solutions for the patient - Contribute to internal, cross-unit collaborative and development work within the Assistive Devices Operations As a new employee with us, you will receive support from a mentor during your introduction. Qualifications We are looking for you who: - Are a licensed occupational therapist - Have at least 1 year of clinical work experience as a licensed occupational therapist - Have good knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written - Hold a B-class driver's license It is meritorious if you: - Have completed a master's degree in occupational therapy - Have experience with administrative work related to procurement and inventory - Have work experience within communication and cognition - Have good knowledge of Excel To succeed in the role, we believe you have these personal qualities: - Personal maturity - Ability to collaborate - Organized - Loyal We would appreciate it if you as an applicant have an interest in digital and technical assistive devices.
