We are now seeking an engaged and service-oriented administrative officer to join our team. In this role, you will handle both customer contact and administrative tasks, and you will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations. As part of this recruitment, we also want to increase the level of automation and digitalization of our processes, which means you will have the opportunity to help shape the future way of working. About the Position This is a full-time position, permanent with a start date of September 1st or by agreement. Probation may be applied. Your Primary Responsibilities Customer Contact: Handle incoming calls from customers with questions about invoices, orders for waste containers, feedback, or other matters. You will sometimes encounter challenging situations, which is why it is important that you remain calm and can explain things clearly. You should be able to explain complex information in an understandable way. Administrative Tasks: Responsibility for invoicing, payments, accounting entries, invoice approval, and archiving. The work requires organized and structured working methods to maintain overview and accuracy. Digitalization and Efficiency: You will work with various software programs, and we would like you to be computer-proficient and open to learning new technology and systems. The position also involves actively contributing to streamlining and digitalizing our processes. We Are Looking for Someone Who Has good communication skills and enjoys meeting people, even in challenging situations. Speaks and understands Swedish and English. As we are the administrative municipality for Finnish and Meänkieli, it is meritorious if you speak one of these languages. Is pedagogical, patient, and service-oriented – you have initiative and drive. Is organized, accurate, and structured in your work. You should also be comfortable handling multiple matters simultaneously. Has computer skills. Experience with programs such as Visma, Elvira, or Infracontrol is meritorious. Is curious and open to change, with an interest in learning new technology and being part of developing our digital solutions. Has experience with administrative work, preferably in invoicing, accounting, or similar. In the selection process, significant weight will be placed on personal qualities. The department's task is to ensure that the municipality's technical functions, such as water and sanitation, waste management, and property management, run smoothly for residents.
