Would you like to help others get ready? As a Logistics Support Coordinator, you will be part of the team in the Logistics Section. Your Responsibilities and Tasks Your duties include receiving requests for materials for national and international operations, exercises, and training, as well as receiving and registering orders. The work also involves recommending transportation solutions, conducting new competitive tenders for transportation contracts, and monitoring transports. This includes ensuring that work is handled and documented according to established processes and procedures. Together with your colleagues, you contribute to the unit maintaining good relationships with other units and external partners, as well as developing procedures and working methods that create the conditions for efficient logistics. Your Knowledge and Competencies We are looking for someone who has: university/higher education in a relevant field, or completed upper secondary vocational education (YH/KY) in logistics, or at least 5 years of work experience in logistics/freight forwarding deemed equivalent. experience with international transport. experience with export controls. experience with customs handling. experience working within or with the public sector. good computer skills and experience with Microsoft Windows/Excel and various support systems. strong proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. It is a merit if you have: experience working with the support systems Unit4 and CECIS. knowledge of the agency's operational activities. knowledge of public procurement. additional language skills. About the Position We offer you a permanent full-time position, which begins with a trial employment period. Your workplace will be located in Karlstad, and travel is part of the position. The majority of our positions involve placement in security class. Swedish citizenship is typically required. When placed in security class, security vetting with registry checks will be conducted before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act. Most employees at the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency are on war placement. About Us In the Logistics Section, we are over 15 employees, and most are based in Karlstad. The unit is responsible for transporting and supplying materials for operations, exercises, and training, both nationally and internationally. This also includes support for material and logistics matters from personnel on operations, exercises, and training.
