Erikshjälpen is a children's rights organization with a non-profit second-hand operation. Together, we share a common vision: a changed world where children's dreams come to life. We work to combat poverty and vulnerability by promoting children's rights in 16 countries. In Sweden, children's rights work takes place primarily through Erikshjälpen Framtidsverkstad, in close collaboration with our second-hand stores. In total, we operate around 50 Erikshjälpen Second Hand stores in Sweden and Norway. One of Erikshjälpen Second Hand's missions is to generate as much surplus as possible for the children's rights organization Erikshjälpen. 1 position(s). Erikshjälpen Second Hand is now looking for a Sustainability Coordinator with a focus on the environment. Description As a sustainability coordinator with a focus on the environment, you are part of our sustainability department where we work with environmental and social sustainability based on our goals as a second-hand actor. Through clear communication of our mission, you contribute to environmentally sustainable consumption in an increasingly attractive and competitive market. Work Tasks Examples of work tasks: You are responsible for goals, results, and monitoring of Erikshjälpen Second Hand's environmental work. You project manage the annual sustainability reporting and support management and drive the organization's work on environmental issues. You monitor the external environment within sustainability work and ensure that the organization is updated on legal requirements in environmental and sustainability matters and collaborate with other organizations. You lead, together with Erikshjälpen, the work on environmental certification. You educate different parts of the organization on environmental issues based on needs and are a support function to your colleagues. The role also includes certain administrative tasks within the social mission. You are part of Erikshjälpen's advocacy work in consultation with Second Hand's management. You report to the Sustainability Manager. Qualifications You have: university-level education in the environmental field or equivalent experience experience working as a project manager interest in sustainability work, both social and ecological sustainability. Meritorious if you have: experience working in climate and environment experience updating yourself on legal requirements, especially within textiles previous experience from retail You are: goal-oriented and committed attentive and service-minded good at seeing things from a holistic perspective good at creating and maintaining strong relationships through good communication solution-oriented We Offer You As an employee of Erikshjälpen Second Hand, you get to work in an operation where you, together with a dedicated team and colleagues around the world, work to promote children's rights in Sweden and around the world, by generating funds for social and humanitarian efforts.
