WORK DUTIES Korrespondensgymnasiet is a high school that offers distance education for complete programs in Business, Humanities, Social Studies and Natural Sciences programs. Our school is aimed at students with documented medical, psychological or social difficulties or who have other special reasons. The school's approximately 550 students live in different parts of Sweden and the world. To meet our students' needs, we work with teaching groups where our approach is individualized and flexible, which places demands on high and broad competence from everyone who works with us. We are looking for a certified high school teacher with qualification in mathematics combined with another natural science subject (chemistry, physics, natural science, biology). You will work with, among other things: • Web-based distance education in your subjects. • Development of methodology and pedagogy within digitalized, web-based education. We offer flexible working arrangements based at Korrespondensgymnasiet in Söderåkra. QUALIFICATIONS Certified high school teacher. Preferably with knowledge and experience of distance studies or distance education, as well as education focused on, and/or experience with, students with special educational needs. You have a great ability to create good and trusting relationships with students and the ability to create conditions for students to interact with each other. To be able to develop and maintain good quality education, you should have knowledge of digital communication methods.
