We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable high school teacher in technology subjects. Are you our new team member? About the Workplace Kungsängsgymnasiet is a modern high school with approximately 480 students. We offer eight national programs as well as an Introduction Program. Our goal is for every student to succeed, and for three years we have received support from the Swedish National Agency for Education's initiative "Collaboration for Better Schools." Students feel safe and enjoy school, which is reflected in our safety surveys, and we have a high proportion of qualified teachers. For us, it is important that both students and staff are seen and that students receive the support they need. We actively work to create a safe and inclusive environment where everyone has the opportunity to develop and achieve their goals. Job Responsibilities As a teacher with us, you will teach in the technology program's specialized subjects. The position also includes mentoring. You will be part of an engaged team and work closely with colleagues within your program and subject area. We Are Looking for You You are a certified teacher with qualifications in technology for high school, or you have subject expertise and great passion and interest in education. Relevant areas of competence include programming, web development, and information technology, which are specialized courses in the program. You are interested in developing and driving the program in collaboration with colleagues and school leadership. You can create clear and safe leadership in the classroom and have the ability to create a conducive study environment and inspire students' interest. Qualifications Teacher degree with certification at the high school level in technology subjects. Alternatively, education in technology subjects that the employer deems equivalent. Work experience in the technology field. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. Meritorious is experience teaching at the high school level. Terms of Employment Individual salary setting Start date 260810 or by agreement Background check required upon offer of employment. This is in accordance with the law on background checks in school, leisure, and preschool activities.
