For 25 years, Gryning has offered residential and outpatient care for children, young people, and families, emergency and foster care, addiction treatment, supported housing, interventions against honor-related violence and oppression, and LSS residential care. We offer counseling and training and assist with placements. Gryning is owned by the municipalities in Västra Götaland through four municipal associations. Solsidan is an acute care, assessment, and treatment home in Skara. Our target group is children aged 0-12 years, who live with us for longer or shorter periods with or without parents. We offer 24-hour institutional care or apartment-based housing with customized care services for families. Do you want to make a real difference in people's lives? We are now seeking an engaged treatment pedagogue to join our team for a permanent employment at 80% with start date by agreement. A probationary period may apply. We operate 24 hours a day, which means you work according to a schedule with irregular working hours, including evenings and weekends. 1 position(s). DUTIES What does the position entail? As a treatment pedagogue, you participate in work where you have the milieu therapeutic role in the daily routines with our enrolled children and families, such as meal preparation, cleaning, and activities. You are expected to conduct conversations, behavioral observations, documentation, and maintain contact with, for example, relatives and authorities. Together with treatment case managers, you are responsible for daily planning, care, and jointly carrying out the assignment. Although you are not expected to have case responsibility, you are expected, with the support of the treatment case manager, to participate in other treatment and assessment work in the department. QUALIFICATIONS Who are you? We seek someone with at least a two-year post-secondary education, or equivalent education, with a focus on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or other relevant subject areas. It is an advantage if you have experience working in HVB and LSS and are accustomed to working based on MI, low-intensity approaches, or other methods that the employer deems appropriate for work with the target group. It is also an advantage if you have completed and have certificates for training such as MI, TMO, Milieu Therapy, Repulse, Trappan, or Taping. You should be familiar with current legislation in the field. Based on the children's and families' needs, we will place great emphasis on personal suitability such as empathic ability, personal maturity, and good self-awareness.
