You are well versed in the elementary school's mission and believe that good collegial collaboration is a very important part of your work environment. The systematic quality work and our IBIS (inclusive behavior support in school) permeate the entire operation and are the hub of our development work. We are looking for you who: Are a qualified teacher with teacher certification. Are clear and have good leadership. Have a solution-oriented and varied approach to work. Are confident in your professional role in dealing with students, guardians, and colleagues. Are active and interested in driving and participating in the school's development work. Have the ability to create engagement and joy in work. To create the conditions for a good learning environment and goal achievement, we work in a two-teacher system with small teaching groups. You and your colleague share a group of 34 students; your teaching group consists of 17 students. You alternate working with the student group with pedagogical planning, collegial learning, documentation, reflection, and systematic quality work together with other educators to develop the operation. You take part in current research and work daily for pedagogical solutions with young people in focus and are attentive to different students' needs. You have the ability to adapt your teaching to the target group and are open to developing yourself together with colleagues and work teams. The work takes place confidentially and in close collaboration with work colleagues, students, and guardians. Väringaskolan is located on Harberget in the beautiful nature of Sigtuna city. The operation consists of preschool, preschool class, school, and after-school care with almost 300 children enrolled. Väringaskolan is run as a non-profit association that has existed since 1991. The principal has been delegated responsibility for the school's operations and personnel resources by the association's board. We warmly welcome your application.
