Hillerstorp School is a pre-K through grade 9 school with approximately 200 students in grades pre-K through 6 and approximately 100 students in grades 7-9. Teachers are organized into work teams. Continuous collaboration exists between different staff categories. Staff meet regularly at joint conferences for pre-K through 9. Thanks to the closeness to each other and shared staff rooms, there are good opportunities for conversations and contacts across traditional grade boundaries, as well as short decision-making paths and proximity between colleagues and management. An important resource for the school is the student support team consisting of a counselor, principal, school nurse, special education teacher, and academic and career advisor. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for someone who wants to provide targeted support to students in grades 1-6 in Swedish, Swedish as a second language, and mathematics. The position involves providing students in need of support with the best possible conditions to succeed in their learning and advance in their knowledge development. The instruction will primarily consist of individual students, small groups, and when necessary, instruction with entire student groups. Your work providing targeted support will involve close collaboration with the school's teachers, student support services, and school leadership. You will have a practical, teaching, and directly supportive role with students both inside and outside the classroom. In addition to planning and providing students with targeted support, you will also be responsible for monitoring students' knowledge development. We are looking for someone who is engaged, flexible, and has a great interest in meeting students with different circumstances and needs. You work well with others and understand the importance of working together so that every student succeeds. You will be an important part of the school's student support team and will collaborate with students, guardians, teachers, and external partners to create the best possible conditions for students' learning, development, and wellbeing. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a degree and teaching certification with the authority to teach Swedish, Swedish as a second language, and mathematics in grades 1-6. We would like you to have previous experience working as a teacher, but newly qualified candidates are also welcome to apply. We place great emphasis on social competence and the ability to meet students and collaborate with colleagues and other staff. Employment Type: Permanent position.
