About the Role Are you a driven, solution-focused certified teacher in textile crafts who is passionate about coaching our future generation toward knowledge and preparation for the future? Perhaps you also have certification in another subject, such as mathematics? The role includes typical teacher responsibilities – planning, implementing, and follow-up of instruction, mentorship, and actively participating in the school's collegial processes. Your Profile You should be experienced in planning and implementing instruction with corresponding assessment. In the classroom, you are a clear leader and you always work with student goal attainment in focus. You build your teaching on close pedagogical relationships with students, and you are passionate about meeting students in their individual development based on their experiences, prior knowledge, and abilities. This position requires you to be structured and driven. At the same time, you need to be humble toward our students, always think about what is best for the student and their individual circumstances, and be able to guide them appropriately. About the School Innovitaskolan Motala, formerly Karin Boyeskolan, was founded in 2003. In 2021, the school became part of Innovitaskolan and AcadeMedia. The school is an independent pre-K to grade 9 school with after-school care and 390 students. The staff consists of 40 employees led by a principal and assistant principal. Our Facilities Our facilities for students in pre-K through grade 6 and after-school care are located at Folkparksgatan 15. Here we have a large schoolyard and close proximity to green spaces and the forest in Bondebacka. The older students in grades 7-9 are located at the school in a central location near the transit center.
