We are now seeking a confident and proactive personal assistant for a cheerful and talkative teenage boy in Uppsala. About the client: The client is an outgoing and kind boy with cognitive disability who needs support with daily care. He enjoys doing things outside the home and thrives when fun activities happen during the day. To help him express himself, his feelings, and his wishes, you as an assistant need to be attentive, patient, and give him the time he needs. He uses a feeding tube, and it would be an asset if you have previous experience with tube feeding – but what matters most is that you are confident, willing to learn, and have the right attitude. He is surrounded by dedicated family members and a stable social network that you will naturally become part of. Responsibilities: Support with ADL and personal care Create structure and security in daily life Join him on activities outside the home Provide social and present support Tube feeding (experience is an asset, but not required) What we're looking for: We place great emphasis on personality and commitment.
