The Care and Services Administration provides service, support, care, and assistance to elderly people and individuals with disabilities, and is responsible for the exercise of authority in accordance with applicable legislation. The Administration conducts activities within elderly care, LSS, social psychiatry, health and medical care, family support, and authority services. All work is carried out with the resident in focus, based on our core values: respect, participation, trust, and security. JOB DUTIES As a contact person, you primarily serve as a friend and fellow human being. You provide support and act as a conversation partner, offer advice on everyday matters, and encourage the person to lead an active life outside their home—for example, by doing fun activities together. All to reduce the social isolation that occurs. You meet twice a month (two to four hours per meeting) When and where you meet, and what you do together, you decide together. The assignment is voluntary, but you receive compensation for your efforts in the form of a fee and expense reimbursement according to SKR guidelines. Client Description: A 40-year-old man with mental health challenges who enjoys music events, likes to talk about fishing and football, and plays guitar at home. QUALIFICATIONS No specific education is required to be a contact person. What's important is that you are attentive and empathetic, calm, very patient, and skilled at motivating. You should have a strong commitment to people and a desire to build a relationship that lasts over a longer period. Why become a contact person?
