Mister York is expanding and seeking a driven leader for Bålsta Mister York is a growing burger chain that challenges the industry and offers what we call the next generation of fast food. We believe that a burger made from quality ingredients shouldn't have to cost a fortune, nor should it take a long time to get in your hands. Mister York served its first burger in the summer of 2020 from a food truck. Today we are opening full-scale fast food restaurants while continuing to develop and expand our smaller container houses. Mister York has been named Sweden's best burger chain for 3 years in a row by burgerdudes, something we are very proud of! Our operations are now in many different locations across Sweden and we are working hard to make Mister York available throughout Sweden, with Bålsta being next in line. Are you the one we're looking for? We are looking for someone with 2+ years of experience and knowledge from a leadership position within the hotel and restaurant industry, where fast food experience is a plus. You have solid experience working with financial monitoring and budget responsibility. You work with a solution-focused approach and have good training and development skills. You are service-oriented, organized, and enjoy working in a leadership role. What does the role of General Manager at Mister York entail? As General Manager, you bear the main responsibility for the unit's staff, operations, and goal achievement, which includes finances, cleanliness, quality, and service. With good leadership, you will help your employees grow through proper guidance and delegation. As the highest manager at the unit, you as General Manager are responsible for ensuring that all employees follow the established guidelines and are responsible for a good work environment in the workplace. You are an ambassador for Mister York and you contribute resources and engagement when needed to the entire district you operate in. You spread positive energy and create engagement among your staff to get more people to want to grow and develop in their roles. You work operationally in the day-to-day running of your restaurant 60% of your working time, with a focus on leading by example. Training takes place at another location for up to 2 months As General Manager, you are responsible for running the entire unit, which includes: Optimizing the restaurant's operations Training responsibility for new and existing shift leaders Main responsibility for inventory and purchasing Primary responsibility for environment, cleanliness, and health with monitoring of self-control programs, checklists, and routines Sales forecasts and scheduling based on Mister York's guidelines Responsibility for needs analysis and recruitment to the unit Responsible for ensuring that product and customer service meet Mister York's standards Conduct employee meetings and continuous coaching of staff Full financial results and budget responsibility Organize and plan staff activities Employment form: Probationary employment Scope of employment: Full-time Start date: By agreement Salary form: Monthly salary Working hours: Varying (day, evening, night) High quality is something that permeates our entire operation.
