Would you like to be part of developing the future of rehabilitation? We are seeking a curious and creative physiotherapist/physical therapist for Adult Rehabilitation. Your Workplace Rehabilitation, Vision and Assistive Devices is a regional operation that offers multidisciplinary and specialized services and assistive devices for children, adolescents, and adults with long-term functional limitations. At Adult Rehabilitation, in addition to physiotherapists/physical therapists, we also employ care coordinators, psychologists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists. Discussions about shared professional and rehabilitation-relevant issues take place continuously within and across professional boundaries. We place great emphasis on staying updated on current research in the field of rehabilitation and, to the extent possible, basing our work on evidence-based methods. Adult Rehabilitation's target groups are individuals with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, movement disorders, and acquired brain injuries. Our patients have one or more of these difficulties. The goal of all interventions in our operation is to optimize the opportunity for individuals with a permanent functional limitation to live as independently as possible according to their own circumstances. Your Responsibilities As a physiotherapist/physical therapist in Adult Rehabilitation, you will have independent, varied, and stimulating work. The work mainly includes interventions for patients with autism and/or intellectual disabilities, such as assessment and treatment as well as counseling, consultation, supervision, and education for individuals in the patient's immediate environment. The work takes place in close collaboration with other professions within Adult Rehabilitation, other personnel, and other authorities. Your Knowledge and Competencies We are seeking a licensed physiotherapist/physical therapist. Experience and competence with Adult Rehabilitation's target groups is advantageous, as is experience working in rehabilitation or related activities. You always put the patient at the center of focus, are responsible and motivated in your work. A driver's license (category B) is desirable as travel is part of the position.
