Saab Dynamics is seeking a development engineer for our Fuze Design section - a team where safety and long-term product stewardship go hand in hand. Here we work with electrical fuzes and fuze tubes, the critical components that ensure our products function properly when it really matters. In your role, you will work on both the design of new products and the management of existing products. You will be involved in designing, developing, and following our products from idea to finished product. Part of the work also involves assisting production with troubleshooting and management, where you handle change requests and ensure that our products can continue to be produced and delivered to our customers. This includes work both in the lab and in the field, and you will have the opportunity to solve technical challenges and ensure the product's long-term functionality. Your work tasks will be varied and challenging, with great responsibility but also the freedom to plan your own work. Your profile We are looking for someone with a degree in mechanical engineering, technical physics, or a similar field, at either engineer or advanced technician level. If you have a different background but a passion for technology and innovation, you are also warmly welcome to apply! If you have experience in design work and/or systems engineering, that is of course a plus, even though it is not a requirement. We believe that you are a driven person who enjoys collaborating and thinking outside the box. You are communicative, in both Swedish and English, and enjoy taking responsibility for your work.
