Saab Dynamics is seeking a development engineer for our Fuze Design section - a team where safety and long-term product stewardship go hand in hand. Here we work with electrical fuzes and fuze components, the critical components that ensure our products function properly when it really matters. In your role, you will both work on designing new products and managing existing products. You will be involved in designing, developing, and following our products from idea to finished product. Part of the work also involves assisting production with troubleshooting and maintenance, where you manage change requests and ensure that our products can continue to be produced and delivered to our customers. This includes work both in the lab and in the field, and you will have the opportunity to solve technical challenges and ensure the product's long-term functionality. Your work tasks will be varied and challenging, with great responsibility but also the freedom to plan your own work. Here you get the chance to be an important part of our team and help ensure the quality of our current products and develop for the future. Your Profile We are looking for you with a civil engineering or engineering degree in mechanical engineering, technical physics, or a similar field. If you have a different background but a passion for technology and innovation, you are also very welcome to apply! If you have experience in design work and/or systems engineering, that is of course a plus, although this is not a requirement. We believe you are a driven person who enjoys collaborating and thinking outside the box. You are communicative, both in Swedish and English, and you enjoy taking responsibility for your work.
