We see that you have experience running a successful store department. In your role as Frozen Foods & Dairy Manager, you should be able to offer our customers fresh, well-stocked, and inviting departments every day of the week. You have a genuine interest in food, service, and retail work, and you thrive in an environment where the pace is often high and tasks vary. You are thorough, responsible, and confident in handling stressful situations when needed. The work is physical and involves heavy lifting, which you see as a natural part of working in a grocery store. Above all, you are a team player who enjoys collaborating and contributing to a positive and energetic atmosphere among both colleagues and customers. In your role, you are responsible for monitoring sales against budget and actively working to reduce waste and shrinkage. You have an aptitude for following up on financial metrics and working toward goals. Furthermore, you communicate well, are clear in your leadership, and have a coaching and supportive approach toward your team members. In addition to this, your responsibilities include: Provide world-class service – always see, greet, and help the customer. Ensure shelves, displays, and coolers are well-stocked, fresh, and well-faced. Build eye-catching product displays. Work the checkout. Handle food preparation and storage. Handle complaints and customer inquiries. Keep the store's different departments clean and organized. Assist with light cleaning, maintenance, and equipment care. Follow procedures regarding waste reduction, inventory, and safety. Contribute to a good work environment and actively participate in improvement work. Place orders and conduct receiving checks. Price changes, shelf labels, and promotional signage. Manage inventory systems. Why choose Coop?
