We are looking for a responsible breakfast host/hostess, part-time 6-12 weekdays, 7-13 weekends. Do you want to work at a family-run hotel where guests are the focus? Your most important qualities are that you are cheerful and positive since you are typically the first person guests meet in the day. A big smile and pleasant greeting are a given. You are thorough, organized, and have the drive to want to change and improve. You enjoy working at a fast pace and like to work efficiently. It is extremely important that everything is fresh and clean and that our guests feel comfortable, so we are looking for someone with an eye for detail. The dining room must be kept clean, cleaning routines that we have must be followed, and what we do should have that extra touch. Your work tasks include breakfast preparations, setting tables, arranging nice platters with breakfast items, serving, dishwashing, restocking the buffet, etc. During breakfast service, some reception work also takes place where you are responsible for today's checkouts, contacting guests for check-in, answering the phone. Some cleaning is also part of your role. You will also be responsible for some simple baking, ordering, inventory, and ensuring we follow environmental and health guidelines. It is therefore important that your computer skills are good and that you can easily learn digital systems. You must speak Swedish fluently and English at a good level. Additional languages are a plus. Your work tasks also include preparing conference refreshments on certain days and setting up for lunches and everything related to conference service. If you are the right person for us, there is an opportunity for the position to also include responsibility for conference service. We are looking for someone with previous experience in breakfast service, café work, other types of serving, or similar. Hotel experience is a plus. The position includes early mornings and work can vary Monday-Sunday with a rotating schedule.
