We have worked together for several years and are now seeking one more person to join our wonderful team who wants to be part of our journey and create meaningful leisure activities for our children and young people. Our target group is children and young people in middle school, secondary school, and upper secondary school. The work takes place during daytime, evenings, and weekends, and you will work both independently and as part of a group. This is a full-time position (100%) and is a temporary contract until February 21, 2027. Växtverket focuses strongly on collaboration with various actors such as the police, social services, schools, and associations. We collaborate on crime prevention, health promotion, and safety issues. Other areas we work with include the Convention on the Rights of the Child, gender equality, and diversity. We work according to the municipality's values and goals. Responsibilities Work in open activities, mobile units, schools, and holiday programs. We operate at four different middle schools, one secondary school, four recreation center branches, and at Växtverket. We practice a culture of responsibility. Collectively create relationships, engagement, and motivation. A central part of the role is to recognize and utilize the target group's interests, ideas, and thoughts. Plan, organize, and implement a varied range of activities and events for our participants. We place great emphasis on respectful treatment and patience, as well as encouraging innovative thinking. All employees have their areas of responsibility. Here you have the opportunity to create your own areas of responsibility based on your interests and expertise. Work from a health-promoting and salutogenic approach by offering activities that promote participation, physical activity, and joy. The work also includes identifying early signs of health issues. Qualifications To succeed as a Recreation Leader, you must have relevant upper secondary education and post-secondary education. You have experience working with secondary school and upper secondary school age groups. As a person, we see that you are self-directed, skilled at building relationships, flexible, proactive, creative, and good at organizing your work. You communicate well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. You have a strong ability to collaborate and demonstrate good conduct toward colleagues and others you meet in your daily work. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. A Class B driver's license is required for this position. Meritorious Qualifications It is considered meritorious if you: Are trained as a recreation leader, recreation pedagogue, public health pedagogue, social pedagogue, or teacher Have experience with health promotion work Have experience with conflict management Have experience with dance, music, outdoor activities, or sports Have experience with community organizations Have experience working with LGBTQI+ issues Are handy/skilled with practical tasks Have experience working with secondary and upper secondary school age groups Terms Continuous recruitment, so do not delay submitting your application.
