The school is centrally located in Kramfors, with good transportation options and close to the city's services and nature. We are now seeking a recreation teacher who wants to help create a safe, stimulating, and meaningful school day where student development, participation, and social interaction are in focus! 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES As a recreation teacher, you work in accordance with the school's and after-school program's governing documents, curriculum, and national goals. The activities are designed to promote student development, safety, and a conducive learning environment. The position includes mentoring students within the after-school program. During school hours, you work with students in class, individually, or in small groups and provide support in various situations throughout the school day, such as in teaching, breaks, transitions between activities, and in other social contexts. In the after-school program's activities, you are responsible, together with colleagues, for planning, implementing, and following up on activities that stimulate student learning, creativity, social development, and independence. Through a relational approach, you contribute to strengthening student safety, motivation, and participation in school. You contribute to the school's joint development work and actively participate in systematic quality work. Placement, grade levels, and student groups may vary during the year and between different school years based on the activities' needs. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a recreation teacher certification or other education/experience that the employer deems relevant. We see that you: • Have documented good collaboration skills, strong responsibility, and a good ability to organize and structure your work. • Have a solution-focused approach and a very good ability to create trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. • Can adapt working methods and activities based on students' daily condition and needs, and actively contribute to a safe and positive school environment throughout the school day. • Work from a low-affect perspective and have the ability to meet students in various situations in a calm, structured, and professional manner. • Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Driver's license category B is meritorious. Great weight is placed on personal suitability, and an overall assessment of education, experience, and personal qualities will be made.
