We are looking for a preschool teacher for our new preschool. In beautiful Sundborn, we opened a newly built preschool in January in the same facilities as the school and sports hall – a unique environment where we together create the best conditions for children's learning and development. Now we are seeking a new colleague for our team. In the Svärdsjö area, as a preschool teacher you will work in close collaboration with three principals who together lead six preschools and educational care. Here there is a clear direction and a strong sense of community – we believe in learning together, both children and adults. With us, you will have the opportunity to work in an activity where play is central and where we weave creativity, language, mathematics, technology and nature experiences into children's learning every day. We spend a lot of time outdoors – in the forest, in the yard and in our immediate surroundings. We know that children (and adults!) thrive with wind in their hair, pine needles in their shoes and hands that have built with sticks and climbed on rocks. We work with a strengths-based approach and compassionate pedagogy as important tools in our daily work. To support you in your role, there is also a shared preschool curriculum – a well-developed planning that simplifies and clarifies the pedagogical work throughout the year. You will be part of a larger context with regular networking meetings where you will have the opportunity to exchange experiences, reflect on quality and drive development together with colleagues. The principals and the area's special educator work closely together to provide you as an educator with the support you need. Meritorious Qualifications Good computer skills and experience using the computer as a work tool Experience with pedagogical documentation as a tool for reflection with colleagues and children Good knowledge in developing language and mathematical skills Insight into strengths-based approaches/compassionate pedagogy Good ability to create an inspiring environment that promotes play and learning Excellent ability to use literature to create a linguistically stimulating environment Terms of Employment The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date by agreement.
