Askersund Municipality currently consists of 12 preschools spread across the areas of Askersund, Hammar, Olshammar, Rönneshytta, Snavlunda, Zinkgruvan, Åmmeberg, and Åsbro. We have a preschool organization consisting of a rector with three assistant rectors who work closely together to ensure equivalent practices across all of Askersund Municipality's preschools. We have our own child health team consisting of two special education teachers, and we have good cooperation with IFO and BVC, which includes regular meetings. Since spring term 2023, we have had planning pedagogues who visit the preschools approximately six times per term to relieve the educators in the departments so they can plan and reflect together. In addition to this planning/reflection time, the entire preschool has time off-site between 4:00 PM and 5:30 PM twice a month. We are a growing municipality where we seek you to help develop the municipality's preschool operations. We are recruiting preschool teachers for several of our preschools throughout the municipality. Askersund Municipality offers, among other things: * wellness allowance * pedagogical lunches at preschool * five municipality-wide planning days/year for preschool educators JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Are you an engaged preschool teacher or soon-to-be preschool teacher who wants to help create an equitable preschool? Then you are welcome to join a team where collegial learning is valued. Together with colleagues at the preschool, you will help further develop our operations so that children have the best conditions for development and learning. We are looking for someone who: * is interested in working with the preschool's systematic quality assurance and is well familiar with the preschool's governing documents. * is a listening pedagogue who challenges children to pursue their questions and curiosities so they develop confidence in their own and others' abilities. * has strong collaboration skills with both children and adults. * places great importance on developing good, trusting relationships with children and parents. * sees the possibilities of the pedagogical environment both outdoors and indoors. * professionally and systematically plans, implements, documents, and analyzes the preschool's education and instruction. * organizes and structures the operations in a way that supports children's sense of security and development, as well as staff working conditions. We expect you to be able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team, and that you have good social skills and are a responsible person. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is trained as a preschool teacher with preschool teaching certification, or someone who is currently training to be a preschool teacher with one term remaining in your studies. If you have more terms remaining, you may still be considered for employment with us—please reach out and we will tell you about our student arrangement.
