With us, there is a consolidated responsibility for integration, labor market, education, and employment issues affecting our municipality's residents. The department also oversees the Cultural School, food services, and student well-being. Björkdungens Preschool and Kyrkkläppens Preschool are centrally located with proximity to the city, beautiful green areas, forests, a library, and playgrounds. The preschools are about a kilometer apart. Björkdungens Preschool is a relatively newly opened facility with six classrooms, a large and creative outdoor environment, two large squares, and rooms for art/carpentry/water play activities and a restaurant with a teaching kitchen. Kyrkkläppens Preschool is newly built and has been in operation for just over a year. The preschool has six classrooms distributed over two floors. On each floor, there is a common square. The preschool also has rooms for art, carpentry, and water play. On the lower level, there is a restaurant with a teaching kitchen. The preschools have a good mix of preschool teachers and childcare assistants with broad knowledge and experience. Quality work is led by staff together with the principal, assistant principal, and the area coordinator. Development areas in Boden Municipality's preschools are systematic quality work and goal-oriented teaching with a focus on children's abilities in language/communication and the compensatory mission. Boden Municipality offers annual professional development for all staff in the municipality's preschools. The preschools in Boden Municipality have six planning days/professional development days per year when operations are closed. With that said, we welcome you to our team! JOB RESPONSIBILITIES For the Central Preschool Area, we are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher and want to work with children ages 1–5 years. If you have not yet completed your degree but are nearing the end of your preschool teacher education, you are also welcome to submit an application! You should be prepared to work with all age groups at the preschool. You should be prepared to work during the hours the preschool is open, be ready to work one week at Summer Preschool each year if needed, and participate in professional development during evening hours if necessary. You should be well versed in the preschool's Curriculum and work to achieve increased goal fulfillment in an engaged and positive manner. You should be flexible and confident in your professional role, and be ready to take responsibility and initiative. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher. You are collaborative, take initiative, are flexible, and solution-oriented. What is important is that you see the whole picture and work together with colleagues in daily operations and toward established goals. You should see each child based on their individual needs. If you have experience with the tools TRAS, MIO, and Low-Arousal Approaches, that is an advantage. Digital tools are used in systematic quality work. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. Employment Type: Permanent employment. Duration: Start autumn 2026 or by agreement. Please attach your teacher's license or diploma.
