Unit Manager for Group Home, LSS Category 2 Do you want to lead with heart, structure, and clear values? Individkraft is now hiring a Unit Manager/Facility Director for our newly opened group home under the LSS Act for Category 2 in Örsundsbro. The facility is operational but still in its startup phase. This means you'll have a central role in stabilizing, developing, and shaping work methods, culture, and quality. Here you'll combine operational leadership with long-term development work. You'll be a key person in a small, close-knit operation where short decision-making paths, involvement, and care characterize daily life. Now we're developing our first LSS residential facility and we're looking for you to help continue shaping it. About the Residence The group home is located in Örsundsbro, midway between Enköping and Uppsala. Buses with direct connections to central Uppsala and Enköping run close to the property. The residence consists of six fully renovated apartments in a nice residential area with proximity to shops, services, and green spaces. The operation serves people within LSS Category 2. Our goal is to create a safe, meaningful, and individually adapted residence where each person receives support to live their life with as high a degree of self-determination, involvement, and quality of life as possible. About the Position As Unit Manager/Facility Director, you're responsible for leading, developing, and ensuring quality in the operation—both in daily work and over time. Since the operation is still in its startup phase, you'll have great opportunities to influence structure, procedures, and work methods. The role includes, among other things: · leading and supporting staff in daily work · creating clear procedures, work methods, and follow-up structures · taking responsibility for personnel, work environment, quality, finances, and administration · ensuring that the operation is conducted in line with legislation, assignments, internal guidelines, and Individkraft's values · developing a safe, sustainable, and health-promoting work environment · collaborating with residents, family members, guardians/trustees, commissioners, authorities, and other key stakeholders · contributing to a culture where staff feel involved, responsible, and proud of their work. You'll work closely with management while being present in the operation. In a startup phase, we need a unit manager who can both maintain direction and roll up their sleeves when needed. About You We're looking for a confident, clear, and engaged leader. You have the ability to create structure without losing warmth, make decisions without losing responsiveness, and drive development without losing focus on the people the operation exists for. Requirements for the Position · A degree in social work, higher education in social care, or other higher education that the employer deems equivalent, at least 180 university credits. · At least 24 months of management experience within the past seven years from care for persons with disabilities, elderly care, or municipal health and medical services. The experience must include responsibility for operations, personnel, and finances and must be documented with employment certificates or equivalent documentation. · Very good ability to express yourself clearly and correctly in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Meritorious · experience from LSS residential facilities or group homes · experience from startup, change management, or operation development · experience from systematic quality work in care and health services.
