We have significant responsibility for ensuring good public services and a sustainable environment. As a vehicle driver with us, you will operate a rear-loader truck with a crane and work with the transportation and collection of waste in a safe and efficient manner. The work is varied and encompasses several aspects of waste management and recycling. Your primary location will be the Sälen area, but you will also support other collection areas as needed. You will become part of an engaged team that together drives and develops our waste management services. Job Duties The role includes, among other things: Operating a rear-loader truck with a crane. Collection and transportation of waste. Cleaning and servicing recycling stations. Customer contact. Daily inspection and safe handling of vehicles and equipment. Opportunity to learn about various recycling processes and techniques. Participating in developing operations and procedures. Your Profile We highly value your experience, qualities, and commitment. You have a service-oriented approach and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. We are looking for someone who: Has a C driving license and YKB (waste management operator certification). Has a digital driver card. Has a wheel loader certification. Has a professional certification for truck-mounted crane up to 18 tonnemeters. Is practically minded. Is flexible, reliable, and organized. Is a problem-solver and service-oriented. Has good computer skills. It is advantageous if you: Have a CE driving license. Have experience driving with hooklifts and cranes. Have experience driving waste trucks, such as side-loaders and rear-loaders. Have ADR certification and Road Work certification. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Other Information The position is a parental leave replacement followed by a fixed-term employment, from September 1, 2026 to April 30, 2028. We work on a continuous basis with selections for interviews. This means the position may be filled before the final application deadline of July 18, 2026.
