Krösatågen AB is being established and is now seeking a Vehicle and Depot Manager who wants to take on comprehensive responsibility and lead a mission-critical function during a period characterized by development, collaboration, and major investments. About the role Do you want to take a key role in developing the future of regional rail transport? As Vehicle and Depot Manager at Krösatågen AB, you will have overall responsibility for leading vehicles, maintenance, and depot issues in an operation with significant societal value. You will operate at the intersection of strategy and operational reality, and contribute to ensuring high operational stability, long-term value creation, and sustainable development of the vehicle fleet—while 28 new vehicles are gradually introduced into the system. In this role, you will represent the customer side in vehicle and depot forums, lead the internal vehicle management group, and collaborate closely with the operator, maintenance partners, depot owners, and owner regions. You will monitor quality, deliveries, and technical matters, drive improvements in maintenance and depot structure, and ensure that work is conducted with a long-term perspective on operations, economics, and quality. The role reports to the CEO and is an important part of Krösatågen's business management. Your profile We are looking for someone with several years of experience in vehicle management, maintenance, depot, technical operations, or similar activities. You are accustomed to working in complex environments with multiple contact points and have a good understanding of how technology, operations, and economics are connected. If you have experience from rail, public transport, or other critical infrastructure operations, that is highly meritorious. You have clear leadership qualities and a natural ability to bring people together around common goals, while also being able to step back and see the bigger picture at a strategic level. As a person, you are structured, analytical, and responsible, with the ability to build trust in collaboration with various stakeholders. You enjoy driving issues forward, making well-informed decisions, and translating analysis into concrete improvements. With a long-term perspective, you work purposefully to create sustainable results over time. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English and have good experience working with technical systems, monitoring tools, and analytical materials.
