Do you want to join our team? At Starby Spa, Hotel & Conference, no two days are the same. We are a family-oriented hotel where we help each other, support one another, and always strive to give our guests the best possible experience. Now we are looking for a facilities manager/custodian who wants to help take care of both our beautiful facility and the people who are here. The position can be adjusted between 50–100% and start as soon as possible, depending on your preferences and circumstances. Who are you? We believe you are a person who enjoys fixing things. You see when something needs to be done and don't hesitate to take action. Perhaps you have worked with facilities management before, or perhaps you come from the construction, service, or trades industry. However, what matters most to us is not exactly what is on your CV – but who you are as a person. We value personality highly and are looking for someone who wants to truly become part of our team. You are positive, responsible, helpful, and enjoy having many different tasks during a workday. What will you do? As a facilities manager with us, you play an important role in keeping the hotel, spa, conference facilities, and our outdoor areas in excellent condition. Your responsibilities include: Minor repairs and maintenance Oversight of hotel rooms, conference areas, and common spaces Troubleshooting and practical solutions in daily operations Contact with external contractors when needed Grass mowing, gardening, and maintenance of our outdoor areas Snow removal and de-icing during winter Furniture arrangement and preparations for conferences and events Being the person who helps out wherever needed We believe you: Are handy and practical-minded Enjoy solving problems Can work independently but also thrive in a team Are flexible and unpretentious Have good interpersonal skills with guests and colleagues Have a valid driver's license (Category B) Experience in facilities management, construction, plumbing, electrical work, or similar is a plus, but we place great emphasis on personality, commitment, and willingness to learn.
