Åre Municipality is a Sámi administrative municipality and we welcome applicants with linguistic and cultural knowledge in Sámi. The Department of Community Development consists of three divisions: citizen services, strategic community planning, and the technical division. The department is responsible for providing services to citizens and businesses, strategic planning of community development, and the municipality's water and sewage operations, waste management, property management, and project organization as support for these operations in new and reinvestment projects. You will work at the Property Unit, which is responsible for planning the municipality's facility supply and developing facilities. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES • Facility Planning and Relocation Plan relocation logistics: Coordinate schedules, moving companies, and internal communication during facility changes. Optimize floor space: Design and plan how office spaces, meeting rooms, and common areas should be furnished best. Order furnishings: Purchase furniture, ergonomic tools, and equipment for new or existing facilities. • Contracts and Finance Review rental invoices: Check that invoices for rent, electricity, and heating correspond with signed agreements. Follow up on contracts: Monitor notice periods and terms for facility rental, facility maintenance, and contractors. Budget costs: Calculate and compile costs for facility operations, renovations, and purchases. • Operations, Service, and Safety Handle fault reports: Receive complaints about, for example, ventilation or broken lighting and forward to the property owner. Secure the work environment: Support helping operations maintain a good work environment related to the facility and its functions. Manage access: Administer access cards, keys, and visitor systems for employees. QUALIFICATIONS • You have relevant higher education or other education and experience that we consider equivalent. • Experience leading projects, preferably using established methods such as PPS or equivalent. • Experience from construction and installation projects or technical operations. • Knowledge of contractor law and experience with the Public Procurement Act (LOU) are merits. • Previous work in public operations and politically governed organizations are merits. • You have good communication skills in both speech and writing. • You master Swedish in both speech and writing. • You have good knowledge of the Office package and experience working with different systems. • You have a B-class driver's license. • Good knowledge of real estate and construction. We are looking for someone who is independent, flexible, and has a structured approach to work with a good ability to prioritize and plan. You are accustomed to taking initiative, seeking information, and finding solutions. You are driven to lead people, create engagement, and achieve set goals with good results.
